Responsible Gambling
Sports wagering should be optional entertainment—not a source of income or a way to recover losses.

Free and confidential support
National Problem Gambling Helpline
Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the United States.
Set boundaries
Decide your time and spending limits before wagering. Never use money needed for housing, food, bills, healthcare, or savings.
Know when to stop
Do not chase losses. Take a break if gambling causes stress, secrecy, conflict, debt, or difficulty meeting daily responsibilities.
Age and location
Use regulated sportsbooks only if you meet the legal age and location requirements in your jurisdiction.
Get support
If gambling no longer feels controlled or recreational, stop and contact the National Problem Gambling Helpline or another qualified resource available in your location.
Immediate danger or crisis
The gambling helpline is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental-health or suicide crisis in the U.S., call or text 988.
